HOW MANY FOR HATFIELD/McCOY RIDE?

Hey Rico, honorable trail ride organizer...How many of us hoodalums a going?? You got any Idea? I am getting Itchy! I am ready to Ride, Drink, Eat, Ride, Drink, Eat, and so on!!
PS I hear that that hillbilly Bo Cuz has been seen haunting that place lately!!

At this time there's alot of people goin,,,I"m thinkin after this weekend I'm gonna start a post next week and ask for numbers only of people goin,,not any letters or words at all,,just give me numbers so I can get an idea...I"m thinkin there's gonna be a minumum of 30 people and a max of 50..:eek: :eek: Them people at the campground are gonna poop on themselves come saturday morning when we have a convoy of 20+ vehicles and achit pot of quads on trailers on a row headed to the trail head.. I can't wait to go to the town and ride on the streets again,,I thought it was cool just having 13 people in a row riding thru town,,I can't imagen having 40+ quads cruisin town...that town's gonna think they're bein taken over..:eek:

I"m thinkin we need to go thru McDonalds drive thru in a single row..:eek: actually mcdonalds was probably the only place big enough that I seen that would hold 40 quads...the speedway we went to barely had enough room for 13 of us...just remember they got a 25 mph speed limit in that town..:huh :D

If I come up alone I am leaving about 7 or 8am. Depends on The War Department..(Mamma) But I should get there around 2 or so. By that time I will be Foaming at the mouth for a chilly one! Just look for a Red Nissan Frontier Crewcab with a red trailer and red 400...( wonder why they call me redzoomer?) That will be me!!

By the way the actuall head count is goin,,I don't think I'm gonna bring any food or drinks, I'm just gonna wander around the campground when everybody is cooking out and just sample a little here and there,,by the time I make it around the campground one time I should have a full belly..:D

Rico, did you see that the PA ATV guys are coming down with 22 to 32 quads. There have only been like 7 responses and we are at a minimum of 43 quads if everyone shows up.

Are u just going to reserve the whole campground, because with that many people, we are going to own the place! :devil

Yeah boyz this trip is gettin perty big...I"m callin the campground after this weekend, cuz I hope by then we'll have more responses.. and I'm gonna inform them of all the people that will definitly be there...I guessed the first time I spoke with them I said around 40 to 50 and she said the sites I reserved should be fine..but I'm gonna have to call her back and say it looks like we might need just a tad more room,,,Like the entire front half of the friggen campground..:D

Hopefully I will be able to make it with the new Raptor, if it is welcome. :D I will say though that if anyone needs any help or has car trouble, or any emergency they can give me a call anytime. I will be in Morgantown, WV (an hour south of Pittsburgh, Pa.) until Friday afternoon and then in Charleston, WV (an hour north of HM) all weekend if I don't get to go for the ride. So if anyone needs anything at all from directions to help of any nature, just give me a call. I will offer my assistance in any form necessary. PM me for my phone number if anyone is interested.

any of that ky octane booster. i put some in my 250ex last week running it straight in the tank. when i would get on the gas flames would shoot 2 feet from the end of the pipe. i think with a tank full i could take on a few 400's but at 120 dollars a tank ill just stay a little behind:blah

OK Rico, you can add at least 3 more quads to your headcount. I'm not sure if the wife and I will be able to make it (I'm still unemployed) but 3 friends are coming down Friday night and would like to hook up with you guys.

Can someone post or PM me some directions from Huntington WV? I'm going to check out Chief Logan campgrounds website and see if they have directions.

I think i can help you out. Take I-64 East to charleston then take 119 South and watch for the signs for Chief Logan State Park. Its a big ole brown sign ya cant miss it. It takes about 2-2.5 hrs from Huntington.

Taco's right do not take any 2 lane bassackward roads..it took me and my dad 2+ hours to drive 55 miles.. Take 119 from charlsetown to cheif logan..the place is really easy to get to I was surprised.

Yep it is really easy to get to Chief Logan from Charleston and only takes about an hour if you drive fast. There are no cops on Route 119 and it is a four lane all the way to the Chief Logan exit. That is the way to go. But I would think Scott that it would be quicker for your friends to come down I77 from Cleveland to Charleston than go through Huntington. Maybe I am wrong but I thought you were up that way?

Oh, we will definatly have some on ice. With our 10hr ride, we will induldge somewhere along the way. But we don't want to have to carry stuff we can pick up down there. We are going to be a little tight on space.
