might be another stupid question, but..... how do you remove the front tires from the bead on hipers? the rears are a sinch, off and on. i can't get the fronts off the inside bead though.

any help would be appreciated.

put the lock ring on...turn upside down and drive over the tire with a truck. should pop the bead.

or you can take it to a tire place and have them do it for you.

i just used some wd40 and our tire machine to do mine.

I used one of the hand held bead breakers. To keep it from scratching the wheel, I bought some of that spray on rubber stuff and just sprayed it on the bead breaker at all the places it would come in contact with the wheel. Worked like a charm and did not hurt the wheels.

is it really that difficult to remove your tires off the front bead?? i examined my hipers before getting the tires mounted......and the bead looked much smaller than the bead on the stock aluminum wheels.

I had no problem removing them.

Most tire places should be able to brake the bead for no cost. I would advise doing that if you do not have the correct tools.
