I think Yamaha should...

make a new class of quad by putting a yz250f engine in a 400cc frame

or make their own 400cc quad by putting the yz400f engine in there

even tho i know this will never happen, unless yamaha gets smart and drops the craptor and the warrior, i can dream can't i?

i know these companys know how to make 4-stroke engines that acually have power, they just don't want to, just look at the warrior... 2 valve, air cooled, lowtech engine.
if they make their quads right people will buy them, 4-valve, DOHC, high rpms, and liquid cooled

just an idea, too bad yamaha's best quad to date is still an unchanged design from 1987. go figure:rolleyes:

Actually, the first couple years of the Banshee had J-arms, then they changed over to A-arms...so someting did change! :devil

they add amazing horsepower by changing designs on the plastic, the banshee now has 40.1hp, WWWWOOOOOOW, they really need to update their stuff

Funny how the 01' shee radars 72mph but the 02' radared nearly 78mph. Maybe they where having strong winds??

I think that yamaha should make a 440 v-twin high hp engine and stick it in a 250r style chasise that is made of all titanium. with long travel suspension maybe 15in front 18 rear (sweet) and make it handle as good or better than the 400ex. that would be my dream quad!!! O yeah and they should price it under 5000grand.

just a dream but it would be awsome if it really happened!!
