HRC Kit from honda should do the trick

Rap700s aren't easy to beat. I don't believe an 04/05 450r will do it without mods that include a piston.

ETA: Just a guess, really. But all the Rap700's I've seen dragging (and the ones I've ridden) where damn fast.

Have you raced the Raptor yet? Is the raptor stock?

They are pretty quick. I was riding behind one once and it seemed to have a lot of balls. I got a Stage II cam, pipe, filter, etc and we seemed kinda even. He was completely stock. We didnt drag, but i bet it would have been interesting.

I have a 04 450r with the mods in signature and my buddy has a 700 raptor. I can pull away from him through the gears but he has a faster top speed since I have a 13t front sprocket. They are fast and have tons of torque.

M.O.~ With equall riders the 450 will lead to 300ft after that the 700 will creep away. Ive drag raced a few piped 700r's and could beat them in 300ft pretty easy. In the dirt it comes down to the rider.

I have a 700r and before my buddy put his hrc kit on his 450r I had him by a couple bike lengths. Now that he has the hrc kit on that things pulls on me untill I top out and he ends up beating me by a couple bike lengths. HRC kit is all you need to run with a big bore dinosaur.

I raced an HRC kitted 06 450er against an opened up Piped and "programmed" 700 Raptor. We raced up a very long steep sand hill that neither of us could get out of 4th gear on. I beat him over and over, sometimes by as many as 4-5 bike lengths. We traded bikes and he beat me over and over when he rode the 450. This is on sand so the higher rpm 450 should have an advantage and we never have raced in the dirt, because I ride my King Quad when we hit the dirt. The 700 is a tractor though! and runs real nice, but I felt for all out drag racing the opened up 450's will take it down every time....
