View Full Version : Quick: I need EXHAUST HELP!

I know that this has been beat into the ground but I need some good advice on which exhaust for a 07 honda 450r. My choices are nmotion, rossier, dasa, or TC! I am getting ready to buy one but i need to be sure.

Please let me know which exhaust will be the best and how loud each is.

I hear that those rosser pipes are pretty good and the way to go. Myself i like the look of the tc shorty.

rossier, dasa I heard both of these are great pipes.....But You can never go wrong with HMF

Yeah i agree...i did want the tc shorty to begin with but they dont make one for the 2006/2007 450r only the 04/05. TC however does make the new long one tho...I wish i could run the shorty. That was my first choice.

Any other suggestions?

I think it depends on what you are going to do to the engine. If you are going to get into the internals, go with a Sparks, but yes they are quite loud. Otherwise, I like Rossier on 450R's.

u might be able to run one anyway. honda didn't change the position where the pipe mounts. they didn't change any of the mounting bolts or anything like that, so it should work

with a yosh pipe u will get like 4 hp.

correct me if iam wrong but i thing rossier claims 13 hp with a cam mod:D

sry, but i was talking about the 400ex. a 450r will make up to 10hp gains with just a pipe filter and jetting.

I called TC and the exhaust mounts on the cylinder have changed like eight degrees so it wont bolt up because of the angle...i think i am gonna go with the Nmotion cause of the short look and i want it to be hella loud. They made the short pipe to compete with the TC shorty so i will let u kno

did they change the position of where the headpipe mounts to thew silencer?? because if they didn't then u could order a '06 headpipe with the '05 shorty silencer.
