not cranking

i just got done building my motor i put on a athena 478 big bore jug @12:4to1 hot rod crank and rod and my batt doest seem to want to turn the motor over any one have any suggestions ??? need help

my friend had to put a gsxr batt in his to get it to turn over
i think the gixxer batt has more cranking amps some one correct me if iam wrong

witch gsxr does it matter?

the gsxr 1000 but u may also need an after market batt box such as lonestar or walsh because he had one but it still may fit in the stock box.

Make sure the cams are properly lined up.I had the same thing happen to me.Also make sure to roll the motor over by hand before attempting to start.

i put a gsxr 100 batt and it is still cranking slow could it be from the cam being retarded 1 tooth?
