What do you guys use? I replaced mne with an easy adjusting screw off ebay and I think that is causing my carb problems!

I believe a company named "Zip-Ty" makes an easy Air/Fuel Screw adjuster.

There's a lot of options out there. I have heard reports of some screws being better than others. No personal experience though.

Kouba (http://www.koubalink.com/fuelscrew.html) makes a fuel screw "extension" that utilizes the stock screw. Seems like that would eliminate the possibility of an aftermarket screw causing tuning trouble.

well, since you asked I guess I will let the world know how big of a dumb arse I am when I am in a rush! As I was putting my 06 back together, I completely cleaned the carb and took the slide out, put the plate in upside down so I think that was the problem! :ermm: If I can get it to idle, I will put the screw back in and see it it is okay to use!

Upsidedown slide plate is actually pretty common error. Kudo's to you for figuring out that was the issue.

I thought it was funny, "M" was upside down on my 06 FCR, but the "L" was rightside up on my 39mm. Good thing I have 2 FCRs to compare!

Now I know! :macho

I always just go by the shape. "Square edge" side faces down.

Yeah, if you don't do it that way, the " \_/ " Shape on the other side makes it hard to idle.......:D
