nerf bars

Hi from aussie guys,new to the forum and trx400's.pick mine up in a week.I've been looking at the forums and can't find what i'm after.

I'd like measurements for nerf bars as i reckon i can make them as opposed to buying them(cheapest i can source locally is $299aus)this is for standard nerfs.

If anybody is willing to get the tape out or tell me where to look for schematics thatd be great.

Also as new do the 400's have any restrictor plates fitted to exhaust or carby.

Measurements can vary, every brand is different. you would probably be best off just to make them to your liking. they shouldnt stick out any further than the rear tires though. You will also have to guage where you are going to mount them, that should determine what kind of measurements you need. You can put in custom angles to make them like no others too. Post some pics if you ever make them, I am sure everyone would like to see...

ya and if thy turn out nice ill buy the second set :) if they are strong welded alum... :)
