After a short two week break it was back to racing at Glen Helen for the seventh round of the ITP Quad Cross series.

17 pros where signed up to race. Jeff Spooner was hoping to grab another win, while Dustin Nelson was in all hopes of redeeming himself.

Jeff Spooner was off to a great start by grabbing the holeshot. Cyle Chislock and TJ Dietrich where right behing, with Dustin Nelson running in the fourth spot.

Jeff Spooner had already put some distance between himself and the rest of the riders.

While Dustin Nelson was trying to work past some traffic in orfer to get to the front. But Cyle Chislock was not going to just let Nelson make that pass.

TJ Dietrich was nor running in the fourth place position.

John Shafe was running in the fifth spot.

And no Darrel Patton was not racing the wrong bike, his 450 was still having some problems so once again he had to ride his Raptor 700. And he was doing pretty well on it, as he was running in the sixth spot.

We are all really glad to see Nick Hengtgen out here once again, after a serious injury at the Speed World round, which resorted in him having to be Air Lifted out. We are glad to see that he has recovered and is back out here.

Jeff Spooner was still our front with a little bit of distance between himself and the rest of the pack.

But Dustin Nelson made his way around Chislock and was on the move.

Jeff Spooner was still out front half way through the race, but Dustin Nelson was right behind him, until Nelson over shot one of the corners loosing a few seconds.

But Nelson was one the move and was quick to make up the time. Now he was just looking for a spot to make the pass at, as the white flag came out.

Jeff Spooner was just in all hopes to stay in front of Nelson, but you could definitely tell that he was getting tired out there.

Chislock was not the only rider to do this as they went wide on the corner and caught part of the wall. But he was still running in the third spot.

Doug Eichner was trying to make his way around Darrel Patton which he was able to do so shortly after this.

Nelson was closing the gap, while Spooner was just hoping he could hold on to the first place position for a little bit longer.

But two corners before the finish line, Nelson made the move into the first place position, leaving Spooner to grab second.

There was a great mid pack battle going on with Levi Marana, who took a pretty hard spill in practice, leading.

But Dustin Nelson was on fire, and was pressuring Spooner, like there was no tomarrow.

Which eventually led to Dustin Nelson making the pass and taking over the lead.

Neel Hill grabbed the win for the 265-450 2 & 4 Stroke Novice class with a 1-1 finish for the day.

And the number 66 rider Jevan O'neil rounded out the top three with a 2-3 finish.

Here is Colten Webb, battleing with Shawn Anderson, both of these riders where in seperate classes, but where sure putting on a show for us.
