406ex vs 660 raptor

I am building a 406 it will have 10.8 to 1 pistons stage 1 cam, port and polished head, filter, pipe,and jets. And my buddy has a 660 raptor and all he has is filter and pipe no jets. And he keeps tell me he will beat me in a drag race on dirt or pavement i am wondering what you all think about this? If my motor is jetted properly will i be able to beat him or even stay close?Thanks

I Believe that:

a. You will beat him
or
b. He will beat you but not by enough to were you will cry about it.
What I am trying to say is that it will be a pretty close race.

it depends mostly on rider and not machine. if you are a much better rider than him you will def. beat him. my neighbor has a 400ex with a megamax pipe and filter and his dad has a 2001 raptor and one day the raced and the raptor won by a length.(1/8 mile)if you have all those mods and are a good rider you should be able to get the raptorby a length or so.unless you race a 1/4 mile because the raptor might get ya there but only by a nose.

I feel like i am a much better rider than he is he has only been riding for like 2 months.

if you get off the line better then him you should win easly

Alot of it depends on how long the race is. The Raptor has more top-end, so if you are both topped out on the street he is gonna pull away.

chances are if your the better rider bettween the two you will win in a short race say 200-300 ft but if is much longer than that he will probably win just because raptors are fast on the top end and thats all they got going for them.
i you really need to win just ratchet you bike down wind it up in second and dump it 400exs launch hard

I figured it would have to be in a short race. how much will a sprocket help in in the short race. I am not worried about top end where we race at is not that long.
