I was gonna go trade my 400EX in for a brand new 450r today. But noooooo nothing can go right with my pos 400. It was bogging out bad and not staying running so I thought it was the spark plug. So i got up early this morning and changed it. Didnt help. Upon further notice my freakin air/mixture screw had fallen out:mad: wtf so now i have to wait a week for the damn part to come in and replace it. :ermm: there goes my 450r for another week :rolleyes:

hey, while you have the time clean everything up real nice. i went to trade in my blaster for a z400 a few years ago and i have always kept my quads clean. i went there and they told me they werent going to give me as much money for it because it was dirty!! they nitpick everything they can. i dont have a powerwasher so i couldnt spray it down but i cleaned everything by hand. but they still complained it wasnt clean enough. so just goes to show you that by putting a little effort in, you can get more money out of your current quad. good luck with the trade and make sure to post up some pics of your 400 and the 450r if you get it as well!

oh trust me dude shes always shining. After every ride i pressure wash it and spray armorall on. heres a pic to show you, believe it or not in the pic my quad is 2 years old

man that is one of the cleanest 400's ive ever seen! glad to see you take care of it. im pretty sure they wont find anything gripe about on your quad! very nice and im sure your 450 will be just as nice!

i dont get why people trade stuff in, you can get more by selling it outright. doesnt matter what they tell you, they just shuffle the paperwork so it looks like they gave you a lot for your trade but they didnt. bringing in cash for a down payment is much better.imo

I was helping friends relocate 2500 lbs of car batteries and a couple were uncapped and were cracked, I had battery acid splash in my eyes so i couldnt read,watch tv or even open my eyes for a week or so,

one thing I am not a newbie. I have just changed my screen name I have been on here for 4 years now. Another thing that was at the end of last year. Maybe he has changed. Give him a break. Yea he shouldn't have done it but let it go ppl should get a 2nd chance.
