2 and 4 stroke carb

whats the diffence. i have a carb off my lt250r and i was wondering will it run my 300ex or my z400 hybrid. i know the z400 has a accelerator pump but do's it need it my 300ex dosn't have a pump. im just wondering cuse i dont want to buy a carb for my hybrid if i dont have to. the lt250r carb is a flat slid carb.

300ex stock carb does have an accelerator pump.

You don't "need" it. But, it reduces the bog/hesitation during rapid throttle change.

No real difference between a 2-stroke carb and a 4-stroke carb. The engine sucks air.. the carb mixes in some fuel.

Big difference!! Throw on a 2-stroke carb and see how she runs:devil: You NEED the accelerator pump on a four stroke.
