HotCam Question!!!!

I bought my 400ex about a month ago. The engine is all stock except for a stage 2 HotCam. Now, I was told today that they tend to cause probs and I would probably have to get a new cam and valves with in a year. Is there any truth to this? Thanks in advance for the input!!!!

As long as the valves are adjusted correctly, it will not hurt a thing.

no it's prolly not going to hert any thing but will see more of a power increase with a pipe, air,jetting,etc..... but check the puge to make sure it's not running lean
