Blew a HG on a 11:1, 416 kit . I wanted to know what HG options you have to go with? If there's composite or metal multilayer head gaskets like in cars... And if you know of a link where to order these aftermarket parts.. Thanks in advance.

And what HD studs do i see people talking about in old posts that i may order also.

Do most people just use a factory HG or are there better aftermarket gaskets?

Most people run OEM or Cometic, just make sure it's the layered steel one and not the fiber. You will definitely need the studs; if you install a new gasket, it will blow too. Even if it feels like you got a good torque, it won't last. I learned the hard way, and now I have HD studs and no more problems.:macho
