400ex cam jornal

i just bought a 2000 400es and got it cheap becasue it didnt run and we pulled the head off and the middle cam jornal is wore out. Do they make a bearing for this or is there a way to fix it?

You may be able to have it machined down and have a bushing made, but it would probably cheaper to buy a used head off of eBay. I don't know of anyone that makes a repair kit, though.

how do you know that the cam jornal are wore out?jw

try calling pivot works. they make seals and bearings for all kinds of theings. theymight have one

You can see where the metal is all scratched up and it has some low spots in it.
