anyone know who makes hitch package for an s-10 style 2004 blazer. i need an easy quick bolt up hitch, 5000lbs will do. i was told they are a pain in the arse to install

Go to u-haul they even install, or chech with pep boys or any auto store near you. The best one i ever did was on my 97 s-10 made bt Reese. A few holes in the frame and about 3 hours including wires.

Draw-tite is an excellent choice too!

for an 04, they should all be bolt on for the most part. i havent had any problems with my reese, check out the reese website for info. i found the local shops have pretty good pricing if you call around so i would check pricing on the internet, then check locally. they are easy to install anymore, you used to always have to drill though the frame:ermm:

I see no one thouht to mention if you drive an automatic and your car didn't come with the towing option way not add a tranny cooler after all repairs aren't cheap anymore. Good luck!

when i did my s10 i got a hidin hitch brand class 3 gose up to like 15000 lbs and they give u 6 bolts that replace the rear bumper bolts and i went to auto zone and got a tow plug(plugs right into the factory wiring harness no wireing is a good thing :) took about 45 min to install both

and a cheap fix to the sag in the rear when towing are air shocks cost me like 50 bucks for both and they can support a good amout of weight and there adjustable makes towing nice jmo
