There isn't any fast manual 4x4s anymore

I would consider

Can Am
Kawasakie 750 Brute Force
Kawasakie Prarie 700
Polaris 800

All these quads are fast but non are manual. They all have there normal problems also.

Polaris Trannys can break in low
Brute Force can over heat.
Can am frames are known to break if you are a real agressive rider.
Prarie 700 Not real sure of anything lol

my is really interested in financing a new yamaha 4wd and i was just woundering what i could suggest to him. he will pobably use it mostly for trail riding and going through mud holes and more of that kind of thing
