Rev limiter ?

Hi guys, Got an '05 R with an HRC setup, filter, and full exhaust. Dropped a tooth in the front. I'm new to the four stroke thing. What does it feel like when you hit the rev limiter? When my bike is really rapped out and the rpm's are way up there it craps out a little bit. Is this me hitting the rev limiter? Or is it a carb jetting/adjustment issue? Even after the full pipe install I stayed with the HRC recommended jetting and adjustments. It runs great otherwise, but I don't want to get to the dunes and have my bike crap out on the hills while I'm passing all of the yfz's!:bandit:

When the rev limiter is hit is just starts cutting out.

i bet you are nailing the rev limiter. it isn't hard to do when you have a cam and full pipe.

yea I do that to sometimes when I am just having fun and going real fast but anyways now does it hurt if you hit it alot

You can hit it all you want thats why it is there so you can't overrev it.

Thanks guys. I was wondering because it runs so strong and then cuts out. Glad to know that this is normal!
