Ok I think my clutch is almost worn out. Its starting to grab and get jerky when I try to make it slip.

What is the best clutch pack to buy? Stock or an aftermarket brand.

Ive heard that you have to change the basket with every clutch pack is this true. If it is I cant believe it, I used to get 3 clutch packs to 1 basket or more on my 250R.

What is the besft clutch basket to buy? stock or aftermarket (Hinson)

Thanks for the help.

You don't have to buy a new clutch basket every time.

I have a hinson basket on my banshee.. works awesome.

I also have a Barnett clutch and it hasn't fail me yet.

For a 450r I'd stay with stock but its up to you its your bike.If your basket has notches worn into it from your plates rubing, you can file them smooth a couple of times befor you have to replace the basket and hinson would be my 1st choice. If you decide to go with aftermarket clutches I would go with barrnet DirtDigger, but use stock springs.Unless you like usin a pry bar to pull your clutch:p

I would change the springs everytime you replace the clutch
