Any information on the 07 LTR 450s? Did they change anything? When do they release them, I'm thinking September, but not sure.

My dealer caught a wiff of one and said they dont have the centermount exhaust because they relocated the battery behind the air box. also the air box is larger.
Dont know if it will be a kick start version offered but it is likely.

I would watch out for the honda They have some thing up thier sleeve!

love my o6 lt -r450

Are you taking about the 07 450R? Cause the only thing they had up their sleeve was new colors.

Yeah the 07 Honda 450r has been released for awhile now, and no changes buddy. I can't imagine Suzuki changing the exhaust because that would mean the subframe would have to be redesigned and I would think that would be a big loss profit wise redesigning everything.

sorry i thought you guys would have figured i ment the 08, 07 has been out for a while(not that good)

remeber when they stoped up grading the 250r thenwhen every body else can out with thiers they had a even better one with power valve and a 6 speed tranny.

the past always repeats it's self!

I'll beleive honda has something up their sleeve when they pull them up and release it. I think people have been building the 450r up the past 2-3 years and, look..new colors.

I posted my opinion. I think Honda will keep the same model with just the average yearly upgrades. Please explain how that is starting stuff.

He didn't start anything, he stated his opinion, and he wasn't even doing it in a mocking way. Just leave him alone already.

I'm not sure if there are any performance mods done to the 07 model. But here is a pic of the graphics for new 07s.

This quad is in Austrailia btw.

I think the 08 Hondas will have something awesome prally EFI. Now for the LTR I hope they change the front tires. Even better rims. My friend bent all 4 of his stocker LTR rims. They just don't seem to hold up to motocross.

What was his Tire pressure? I know if you just go with the stock suggested PSI you do have a chance of bending them. My buddy puts 9 to 11 PSI in the rear and the same for the fronts depending on the track conditions.

I wonder if we use the recomended psi and the rims bend which mine did if they would do something for us? How many out there have bent rims? And I just bent my axle last race.

one of my front rims is bent pretty bad...but its not becuase they are "weak". I was riding on a practice track full of rocks twice a week for about 2 months...had a few pretty hard landings...it was bound to happen sooner or later. I also bent my axle doing lorracos leap at redbud...

just gives me an excuse to buy aftermarket

The PSI in your tires will definitely make a difference. Unless you have beadlocks or rims with some sort of ring bracing they will bend most likely. I run 11 PSI in my Douglas ,190 fronts and 6-7 in my OMF rear beadlocks. Are the stock LTR axles not very good or is it that people just aren't langing smoothly?

I think the axle is fine...I know when i did it..i landed at a 45 on a pretty sizeable double with not a big landing. It happens..oh well

This is the first quad I've owned since 1988 when I raced a 87 250 quadracer. I raced a full season on that one and trail rode for two years and never bent a axle or damaged a rim. Is it because there going for light weight so the equipment is weaker? besides that I love the quad.
