Sell a Peice of Histoy, Or Keep it ? J Jones

Well last year i adquired a Cylinder kit that J Jones ran on his 250R practice bike back in 1998. Its an Pro-X 265 Bigbore Cylinder ported by Elsberry performance. Ive got the complete Top end Kit and im tossing up the idea of selling it. Im the 3rd owner of it. Jones being the first and Ted Placta being the 2nd. Its never been ran since Jones. Ted and i have both kept it in the Box. I just dont have the heart to run it and id hate to see anything happen to it. SELL IT ? OR KEEP IT ? All offers are open

If i dont sell it off Exriders it might Hit Ebay

Id just keep it, i dont know what its worth but a piece like that I would keep as opposed to a couple hundred bucks.

keep it. Money you will spend...That is like a trophy...it might collect dust and will be forgotten about eventually...but you will alwyas have it.

Yeah i really wanna keep it, But im just in a tight spot. Its just sitting in my bedroom wraped up in a box. Its Flawless and im sure it would run awesome, its just really collecting dust.

As of now it will continue to sit unless someones interested in buying it. Jug, Head, Piston, Rings, Pin, Clips. (brand new o rings that i bought).

I don't know if this is possible or if it's even a good idea, but I would see if you could get it signed by JJ himself then sell it and give all the money to his family.

Maybe see if someone can get it signed from JJ, then put it on ebay. then give all the money to JJ.

If you need the money just sell it. All it is, is a peice of an engine.

Although it is a nice thought to sell it and give it to the Jones family, i just don't see the sence behind it. Jones sold it to another guy, who sold it to you. If you need the money, just sell it.
