I did a search and found everyone running from 160-195 main jets.I'm I'm getting ready to order the jets online and am needing you guys to help me narrow this down,so i don't have to buy 10 different jets just to get the right one. Here's my set up.04 450r with full hmf pipe, hrc airbox lid and uni filter.

Also, i see some changing the pilot jet from the stock 48 to a 50.Would it be a good idea to go ahead and order the 50 pilot jet also?

I'm thinking from 180-190 main,stock(48)-50 pilot, fuel mixture 2 1/4 and i have no idea where to move the clip on the needle yet.

elevation helps A LOT!

That's the difference between jet sizes.

5,000=165
1,000=170-175
0(glamis)=185

The elevation in my area is 450-1000 ft,so i would probably need to get jet sizes 170-180.I knew that elevation had a lot to do with determining jetting.Just saw a few guys running main jets in the 160's that were pretty much in the same elevation that i'm in,but i also know that correct jetting for one quad may not be correct for another even with the same set-up.
