With stock tires, go up a tooth or 2 on the front sprocket.
So what clutch mods?

pulled two rollers out of the front clutch...
I am running 18 or 16 inch snow hogs depending on the track...
I am going to lighten the rear clutch shoes....

Take them down to 180 grams. That's all that is needed til you get a motor.

For the 16 tires a 3-4 tooth bigger front can be used.

Snow hogs~~yuck. Case busters IMO. :)

i am running 18" turf tamers and want to gear ours different. I tried going to a 12 and 13 tooth front and always had to much slack in the chain after cutting a 1 link longer one. What do you guys do for this? Are the chain tensioners on ebay what I should get. The boy is gonna be running flat track this fall and winter and I am trying to get it set up. Thanks in advance, Chris

The ebay adjusters are sorta ,ummmm,,lets just say not the best one out there.

I make a "kick ***" chain tensioner.
