Has anyone tried the return spring in the carb. from this company for the FCR carb? If so, how did the pull on the throttle feel after it?

Thanks in advance!!!

I have one. I love it. After I installed it I didn't think I would like it. I thought I would have trouble with throttle control. But once I got on the track, it was very smooth.

Do you know you can do this same mod by taking some of the preload out of your existing spring.

Just cut it, and rebend a "U" in the spring, re-attach and you are good to go, with a much ligther spring pull.

I have already taken a 1/4 of a spring out of it but don't really notice any difference. I'm afraid to cut anymore because you can't purchase the spring separately from Service Honda if I cut too much. You have to purchase the shaft that it's on as well. Like $40 for just the spring. Maybe I should just cut about 1/8 of a spring out of it at a time and see if it gets better.

the thing to do is put something inside of the spring so it keeps its shape then take it to the grinder and take a little off to thin it down. this really makes it easy and smooth.
