ok i have a 400ex bored out 416 goodies etc... and its fast now but when i jump the landings are ruff i meen iam a big guy at 6,3
271 lbs and it seems like it has no bottuming resistence iam still on the stock suspension and i need ideas for good improve ments cuz i just cant afford leager, elka etc...

i want to corner better also cuz it just feels like it wants to go on 2 wheels when i corner even when i lean... so if anyone has any ideas on the better cornering and SMOOTHER landings plz give me some ideas on Cheaper set ups cuz this stuff doesnt have to be top of the line but...

and for front shocks i am trying to deside between 450r stock fronts or works...

I would go with the 450r shock in their rear I got mine off ebay for aroun$80. And for the front i would go with works or you might be able to find a used pair a elkas on ebay.jmo

there is hardly a diff between the rear 400ex and 450r shock.

buy a set of 450r shocks and then get them revalved a resprung for racing. noleen will do this and they can get the 450r shocks to give u almost 11 in. of travel. then have them revalve ur rear shock. this would be the cheapest route. it will give u the most bang for the buck.

I have a stock 400ex shock that has had the GT thunder dual rate conversion with ZPS valved for a 185lb rider on a stock swing-arm for sale $250.

It will make your suspension perform way better. pm me if your interested.
