I ride whatever part of the Meadowlands that isnt about to be turned into a mall  Other than that, expect to drive 2-3 hours each way and still run from the cops.

Do you really expect to find public wide open spaces in such a place? :o

About 4-5 years ago i used to ride with a buddy of mine from NYC right around the seacaucus train station, I forget exactly where it is, but when I take the train down to the city (heading south) I can see it still there right before the seacaucus transfer. It used to be a pretty gnarly MX track and no one bothered us because its right next to the trains.....we used to ride the just about any time of the day we wanted. The friend of mine I road with moved to Chicago, but I am sure I can find the place.....might be a crazy thought, but try to look for it on google earth.

If you dont mind driving an hour and 50 minutes, our club Team FAS Racing motosports Club (http://www.teamfasracing.com) Has free membership and we ride every weekend all year on Private Properties. You can doo 50 - 100 miles no cops and stop at bars restaurants etc. Very atv friendly crew! Plus we are all from the BX Conn Brooklyn etc - JT
