Should I trade??

I have a 96 honda cr125 with alot of stuff done to it(black plastic,graphics,pipe and silencer,boyesen reeds,port and polished ect) and a guy on a different site wants to trade a 99 400ex for my dirt bike. He said the only problem with it is the cam is bad. Im not a 4 stroke guy I ride a 02 banshee so do you guy think when the cam went out, other stuff went out with it too? he sais its completely stock besides a lonstar billet carrier and somelse else small. I want to trade so I can have a play quad/one for my gf but is it worth it?

i personally would have a hard time trading something that runs for something that dosent but that is just me.

if the cam went completely out i probably jumped time wich = bad and not worth the trade but if its just the cam chain u can get a cam hain for 100ish
