Is the 440 kit reliable? Has anyone had any problems with them overheating bad? And do they blow head gaskets?

Ran mine for 3 yrs, never had any problems. 11.5 to 1 wiseco. Put fresh rings in it about six months ago. When u go high compression u will need oversized studs to keep head gaskets

are they longer studs or just stronger?

they are a bigger thread so they will hold a lot more. you can get them from gtthunder.com for about $60

I actually run cooler than I do on my 426ex,(I have both kits) I run a DuncanPC4000 cylinder and have never had an issue.

Similar set-up to QJ and I love mine. No problems, and as said, it tends to ru pretty cool. I must admit, in the sand it can get pretty hot, but it hasn't overheated or ever come near that point yet. Haven't blown a head gaket yet... and so far this engine has been put to a strict racing schedule LOL,

Who makes a good 440 kit? And it's best to do a new crank, cam, connecting rod, cam chain, cam right? What all should I add to it. I want to do it all right the first time!!!
