Well, today was a fun and NOT so fun day...Ill explain it later...

Im still shocked that I got up and rode so early today.. We arrived outside of Featherville around 8am and got right out to riding .
The weather was next to PERRRFECT to day.. It was cold this morning, but you didnt notice it much once you started riding and by 1pm, you were taking off sweatshirts.

A freind wanted to check out this area, so we stopped in town and got a map and headed to trail 172, we rode for a bit ,one of the riders somehow lost his key while riding to one of the DVX's(dont ask me how he managed that! ) He got lucky, he found it by some pine cones so we resumed our ride for a bit......

We pulled off in and open aread down by a creek and one of rhe riders suspected we was going the wrong way, so we turned around and headed to trail 170 .This put us threw the Rocky Bar loop(I think it was called that) and in total we put in approx 40 miles for the day. .We stopped and saw a spot that what we believed to be an ole mine and an old building but we didnt walk back to find the mine(I dont think there was no rode access allowed) by then, My Son had got a touch of Motion sickness lol , His piggy backing on Dads 450r was not so pleasant and was hard fo him ro see anything,I honestly dont think this is something that either of my kids cared for really.. I think that they know one thing and one speed only right now and its mainly cause of all the racing I think. In time as they grow older, maybe they can appreciate it more. This loop would not have been good on there minis and would have ran out of gas... LOL

Brandon was determined to catch himself a chipmunk though!
:p

We headed back around 3pm and was about 20-30 minutes from our truck when a few of us ahead noticed hat the others was taking a LOOOONGGG time to get into FeatherVille. One of he riders went up then when he never arrived, my husband Troy followed... Then ,Troy never returned ,Paul and I grew worried .... After Paul headed up to see what happened,my Son and I decided to backtrack as well when we ran into one of the riders heading back. Apparently his Daughter had an accident and not only messed up her quad, but she had a shoulder injury and was headed back for the truck to go back and take her to the Hospital...By the time I got back to where she wrecked they was almost fully loaded and Kali said she thought she else broke her Collar Bone or separated her shoulder. Afte feeling it, it reminded me of another riders injury when he wrecked at an MX race. She said my Daughterwas behind her and only thing she remembered(cause it happened so fast,it didint knock her out) was Kelsey pullin her quad off her.
Kelsey said it happened so fast and she thought it looks like she was just doing a wheelie ,then she ended up on of ALLLLL the worst places, she ran into some BOULDERS!
We talked to Jeff on the way home and he confirmed that she did indeed separated her AC and will prol. have some nice bruises on her thigh where she landed. It stoo bad too cause she was setting in 2nd for the State MX series and will miss the final round :(
I would LOOOVVEEEE it if sometime we could get a group together and do a wk end campout and ride up to the Trinity Lakes. I kinda wanted to do that today, but the kids was spent and so was our BUTTS !!!!

There is a lookout and the ride would be alot of fun! The main roads are in very good shape, In spite of a few hangups, and Kalis injury , I still had a GREAT time !
Ill have a few pics up in a bit,but I didnt get too may this time around and they really didnt turn out very well.
:ermm: we have had ALOT of wildfires .
