Another killer weekend, and being the weekend before Labor Day the numbers were down a bit and I am pretty sure the weather scared a few off. Boy, they sure missed some killer riding!!!

Pappy

Cody and Mike Repine (LTR pictured above) spent the better part of saturday morning ripping it up.

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:20 PM
Cody would be riding on his new 400ex front end.

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:33 PM
It was great having someone for Cody to follow

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:34 PM
More riders took to the track

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:36 PM
It took Cody a few laps to get accustomed to the new suspension

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:45 PM
Mike and Cody coming through a turn together. Cody would swing inside and hit the double beside the table and then they would race to the next turn:p

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:47 PM
BPG has so many choices for skill levels it actually makes it fun to mix up the jumps every other lap

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:48 PM
This is the 2nd time i've seen this banshee there, I still love the sound of them:p

Pappy
08-27-2006, 02:51 PM

They are still getting his new shocks dialed in, but he rode great this weekend!

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:01 PM
Cody was eager to put in a ton of laps on his quad. He helped install that new front end and wanted to beat it hard to see how it was going to do.

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:04 PM
I would say by the way he was riding this weekend, he is diggin' the new set up!

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:05 PM
It seemed to work very well, and his rebuilt 450R shocks should be here next week

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:07 PM
By dinner time saturday evening, the sky had a weird glow to it. I was praying for rain and my prayer was answered:D This area is way to dry and we need it!

Cody had the track to himself and decided to have some fun before dinner

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:09 PM
wvspeedfreak (Jason) was also taking pictures as cody styles it up for his lens

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:10 PM
Before anyone jumps in and says..."How come so many pictures of Cody"...dont! Get your *** off the computer and on the track and I will take your picture, if not then STFU right here and now:p

After dinner, it was time for some games. No blind fold was available so a helmet turned around would make do:eek2:

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:16 PM
We gave each kid 3 chances...

KH426 did the spinning honors. (He was the only one not worried about getting kids who had just stuffed themselves with dinner and birthday cake dizzy:devil: )

And I dont think he thought about getting wacked in the nads by a bat:eek2:

XCAdam89
08-27-2006, 03:18 PM

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:40 PM
I finally told him that was enough...and as Jason and I got close to the front of the track, Cody was pounding the "whoops" section:p

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:43 PM
Sunday morning...a good amount of rain fell over night and Dan was busy disc'n the tracks at daylight. They were in perfect shape when the riders hit them!

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:45 PM
Cody rode the bike until it was time for a break (the bike needed a break...lol) then he went back out and pounded the track on his quad:macho

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:47 PM
I blame this on Pro AM rider Paul Gregg(pgregg85)

Cody watched him do these non-stop last weekend

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:49 PM
Grabbin' some air

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:52 PM
As the folks in the bleachers watched, Cody ripped through them lap after lap. He was even beating other quads that were taking the 3 tables as he went through the whoops:eek2:

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:54 PM
Dan couldnt take not riding with the good conditions

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:56 PM
KH426 had been busy working on the 2 new bathrooms but finally finished and hit the track for some fun

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:56 PM
So be sure to think of him when your taking care of business:p

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:57 PM
And he wasnt riding bad either:D

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:58 PM
He sure was giving them bikes hell though:D

Pappy
08-27-2006, 03:59 PM
Dan saw Cody hitting the whoops so he wanted a go at them

Pappy
08-27-2006, 04:01 PM
And hit them he did:D

Pappy
08-27-2006, 04:02 PM
Dan loves to whip around the quad

Pappy

Cody had to put his 1 hour ride in before we left, and he was wearing out some bike riders:p he wouldnt pass them, just letting them know he was there lap..after lap..after lap:devil:

Front fenders are fine.. it's those dang back fenders that like to pop out of their rear support bracket everytime you hit a woop section, lol.

I've got fullbores, so I don't use that lame bracket anymore. ;)

Pappy,
Cody's that family's looking good. Wish I wasn't a thousand miles away. (Also wish I didn't suck on an MX course.. lol)

A big thanks to Pappy's brother Kevin and his step dad Pat who spent two weekends in a row up here donating their time to build two new restrooms onto the dining hall. Be sure to thank him when your here, if he's not out riding a killer looking grey yfz he'll probally be building or fixing something here. Make sure you say hello, he's a hell of a guy always lending a hand to someone.

A big thanks goes out to Pappy's brother Kevin and his step dad Pat who worked two straight weekends, donating their time to build us two new restrooms on the dining hall. When you see Kevin be sure and thank him. If he's not out riding a killer grey yfz, he's probally builing or fixing something around her for us.

Hope to see lots of members here next weekend for the labor day celebration. Don't forget Saturday night at the pit bike races we will have kids quad racing with classes up to 300cc. No AMA cards and we have plaques for all classes. This is a night race under the lights.

Saturday we will also have a MUD BOG RACE, not your typical straight run through the mud either, we have a mud hole course set up. Classes for two and four wheel drive, I'm even gonna run a class for two wheelers.

Its going to be alot of fun, hope to see you here.

Don't forget we have a free pig roast on Sunday !!

haha how'd ya know......

i took a Monday off from work (i'm 16 i can drive) and everything to go check out their new "quad track" biggest waste of money ever!! I farted around on it for abotu an hour and i couldn't get out of 2nd/3rd gear. i was feed up so the owner was sittin the their "ticket shack" and i went to ask him if i could go on the big track, even for one lap. I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE an dhe still said no, and afet ri demanded for a refound they wouldn't give it to me. so me and my bro packed up and left at about 11 am. i was livid......

edit: this was about 4 months ago and when i went back for the D7 race it looked like no one had been on the "quad track"
