Rip Roarin' good time at BPG!

Another killer weekend, and being the weekend before Labor Day the numbers were down a bit and I am pretty sure the weather scared a few off. Boy, they sure missed some killer riding!!!

Cody and Mike Repine (LTR pictured above) spent the better part of saturday morning ripping it up.

Cody would be riding on his new 400ex front end.

It was great having someone for Cody to follow

It took Cody a few laps to get accustomed to the new suspension

Austin (WVspeedfreaks son) was styling on his recently revamped Kasea:macho

Adam (XCAdam) was at BPG meeting up with Honda55 to purchase a 300ex

My youngest son Ryan was wanting badly to get to the youth track:p

Ryan celebrated his 8th birthday Saturday evening with the gang from BPG. Happy Birthday Ryan!:D

Mike and Cody coming through a turn together. Cody would swing inside and hit the double beside the table and then they would race to the next turn:p

BPG has so many choices for skill levels it actually makes it fun to mix up the jumps every other lap

This is the 2nd time i've seen this banshee there, I still love the sound of them:p

A nasty 450R and he was riding it good too:p

A new small double double section was added beside the downhill double

They are still getting his new shocks dialed in, but he rode great this weekend!

Cody was eager to put in a ton of laps on his quad. He helped install that new front end and wanted to beat it hard to see how it was going to do.

I would say by the way he was riding this weekend, he is diggin' the new set up!

It seemed to work very well, and his rebuilt 450R shocks should be here next week

By dinner time saturday evening, the sky had a weird glow to it. I was praying for rain and my prayer was answered:D This area is way to dry and we need it!


Cody had the track to himself and decided to have some fun before dinner

We took a break to enjoy some of the birthday festivities

KH426 did the spinning honors. (He was the only one not worried about getting kids who had just stuffed themselves with dinner and birthday cake dizzy:devil: )

I was afraid none of the pics would turn out because it was dark as all get out and I was running out of film speed to bump up:p

I finally told him that was enough...and as Jason and I got close to the front of the track, Cody was pounding the "whoops" section:p

Sunday morning...a good amount of rain fell over night and Dan was busy disc'n the tracks at daylight. They were in perfect shape when the riders hit them!

Cody rode the bike until it was time for a break (the bike needed a break...lol) then he went back out and pounded the track on his quad:macho

I blame this on Pro AM rider Paul Gregg(pgregg85)

Cody watched him do these non-stop last weekend

As the folks in the bleachers watched, Cody ripped through them lap after lap. He was even beating other quads that were taking the 3 tables as he went through the whoops:eek2:

Dan couldnt take not riding with the good conditions

KH426 had been busy working on the 2 new bathrooms but finally finished and hit the track for some fun

So be sure to think of him when your taking care of business:p

Oh I see, thats good... Sparks are a nice pipe... and I kinda guessed that on the fenders, but just wanted to make sure, you should get another set and race cut them for just for BPG:D

Front fenders are fine.. it's those dang back fenders that like to pop out of their rear support bracket everytime you hit a woop section, lol.

I've got fullbores, so I don't use that lame bracket anymore. ;)

Be sure to thank him when your here, if he's not out riding a killer looking grey yfz he'll probally be building or fixing something here. Make sure you say hello, he's a hell of a guy always lending a hand to someone.

Hope to see lots of members here next weekend for the labor day celebration. Don't forget Saturday night at the pit bike races we will have kids quad racing with classes up to 300cc. No AMA cards and we have plaques for all classes. This is a night race under the lights.

Saturday we will also have a MUD BOG RACE, not your typical straight run through the mud either, we have a mud hole course set up. Classes for two and four wheel drive, I'm even gonna run a class for two wheelers.

Its going to be alot of fun, hope to see you here.

Don't forget we have a free pig roast on Sunday !!

i will be up there this weekend (9/1 weekend) for sure, dan you seem like a great guy, i havn't gotten to talk to you but i try to make it up to BPG at lest 3 times a month. I havn't been there in abotu 2 weeks so i am lookin to see what u'v done to the track. i'm 16, i don't know people seem to reconize me. last time i was there i was havin some fun on the "uphill" table. my last few laps ther ewas two or three guys with disposable camaras takin pictures of me. i had no idea who they were. if i se eyou this weekend i'll come talk to you, i ride a stock blue yfz450 with a sparks bigcore

i took a Monday off from work (i'm 16 i can drive) and everything to go check out their new "quad track" biggest waste of money ever!! I farted around on it for abotu an hour and i couldn't get out of 2nd/3rd gear. i was feed up so the owner was sittin the their "ticket shack" and i went to ask him if i could go on the big track, even for one lap. I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE an dhe still said no, and afet ri demanded for a refound they wouldn't give it to me. so me and my bro packed up and left at about 11 am. i was livid......

edit: this was about 4 months ago and when i went back for the D7 race it looked like no one had been on the "quad track"
