well i got all my new parts in and i have a stage 2 hotcam in it now i adjusted the valve lash to their specs but damn it sounds horrible.almost like the lash is too much i know im supposed to readjust them after a half hour of riding but i havent even put that on it the clatter sounds horrid any ideas or is this normal??? :devil:

never mind i just figured it out i used sae and the card lash numbers are in metric

Good deal. Do you think you will have to rejet with this new cam.

i might have too im not too sure yet im going to my buddies house to break it in and see how it goes but ill have to check the plug to see if its burning good or not ill post it up later tonight if you want:devil:

Yea let us know. I seems if you put a cam in a 4stroke that has more duration & lift that means it needs more fuel to burn.

well i broke in the cam before the rain today and yes i do have to rejet it i figured id have to anyway but i was hoping i didnt but oh well its easy to do so i guess ill get on it as soon as i see whats in there for a jet:devil:

How could you tell u need to rejet? Is it at WOT or in the pilot,needle circuits?

well i rode it around for the first 20 minute break in and brought it back in readjusted the valves and checked the plug and it was burning white/grey (too lean) so i moved the needle all the way up and i havent checked it yet but im going too as soon as i get it out of the truck and in the garage again but im sure its still not right so ill have to see what jet its got and go get the next two sizes up but it definatly made a big differance in overall power :devil:
