Ya I would do I stroker with a hot rods crank and rod. With the 440 wiseco piston so when it's stroked it will be a 460 but their is special piston that you have to get so you don't have to machine your case. and you should get a bigger carb and some more head work. and prolly get the stg 3 hotcams:D jmo

If you take your time and do it right it will be very reliable. you can get bigger valves, stronger valve springs, you will also need to get a bigger oil cooler.and prolly stronger cluttch springs only like $10 but will help alot.

Personally, I have never seen a reliable 460 stroker. The ones I have seen have been ungodly fast, but wouldn't last if u would put a lot of seat time in on them. If u are going to spend the money on a stroker, go w/ the falicon crank and carillo rod.

i know a guy who has a 465 built right, i think there is about $3500 in the engine. the thing goes like a bat out of hell and has ran for years with no problems. but again thats $3500, it should be bullet proof

It depends if ur going to be replacing the crank your self or your going to have some 1 do it for you.

but for all the parts you need it prolly going to be around 1,000 + or -
