Crushed K&N Filter

I took my K&N off to clean it and i rinsed it out and before I was fixing to put the cleaner on I was waving it and slinging it tryin to get alil bit of the excess water out and it slipped out of my hand and hit the ground and crushed it alil on the unopen end. I fixed it back to almost normal. It makes me sick. Anyways if I oil it properly and all that is it gonna let dirt in and make me have less performance, or should i not worry about it.

I smashed the end of mine and it worked fine. I woldnt wory about it.

It should be fine. Just make sure that the wire mesh doesnt have any holes where you fixed it. Also make sure that the inner element isn't ripped.

Naw it just bent them out of shape alil. I'm fixin to oil it. I like doin light coats at a time and let it soak in so i don't over oil it.
