Is it ok to run 93 pump gas in a 440ex?

It depends what compression piston you have. 10:1 it will work fine, 11:1 it would be OK if you didn't ride too hard. 12:1 needs 50/50 mix 13:1 50/50 mix to full race fuel.

Depends on alot of factors, where you are running and the compression you are running are two large influences. Try it and if you detedt any problems shut it down and try a 50/50 mix.

ive allways ran 93 octane in my 400ex..but my engine is stock so...

i run 93/94 octane in my 11:1 compression 440, no problems at all;)

it depends alot on how much heat ur engine is putting out. if it is running hot then u may need higher octane. it depends on if u r detonating or not

It says in the owners manual that 93 is recommended.

yes, but if ur running higher compession than stock, u may need to run higher octane to keep it from detoing

So if I wanna run a 12-1 440 kit in my quad I would have to run a 50/50 mix but what is the mix consist of?I would assume 93octane but what is the other half?sorry I'm new to this

half racegas and half pump gas

the mix is just to keep gas cost down. any octane over 100 will work for the 440 12;1 set up. any more mods and you may end up using 110.

they dont even sell hardly any 92 around here well enough 93 :ermm: ours goes from 89-91

I always use 50/50 92 since thats all thats avail. here and VP C-12. Never had any problems.

I used 91 octane in my 12.5:1 Trinity 440EX without any issues. I tried 100 octance once and it did not run any better.

that is a very rare case. i have not heard of that yet.
