Rev Box

Im confused on these rev boxes someone told me that its is bad for the quad and can cause the engine to blow a lot easier. is this true and should i get one. Where are they installed anyways.

ok well this is asked on almost a daily basis. so, search if you want to find days worth of reading the topic. but, with a higher rev l imit of course your motor could blow easier. the rev limit is there for a reason.....that is as high as honda recommends your engine turning in the stock format. i always ran a higher rev limit after i built the motor........and it was a lot faster when dragging as well with the higher rev limit. however, if you run the stock cam i would not get a rev box. its just not needed at that point.

first off the rev box raises ur rpm depending on what brand 800 to 1000+. so therefore it lets your engion rev more. i run one and love it. as long as u dont hold it pinned in 5th gear 4awhile ull b fine. if you get one DONT get white brothers. pm me if u need more info
