Msr hot start lever???

i have a '04 trx450r and i just bought a msr aof clutch assembly with hot start. I have everything installed but the hot start cable does not pull back after i push it. I know its not the cable bc the cable was working fine before i changed assembly's. Is there a special new cable i need to buy??

Mine does the same on my hybrid, I havent checked it out though.
