i am going to go with a denton swingarm if they make one for a 300ex my uncle has a +4 on his raptor with a custom axis rear shock it flies over the whoops and lands really smooth turning isnt bad either since he has an axle well i have a 2+2 axle now and i am going to widen the front end then i am getting a new swingarm in prolly +4 or +5
does anyone have a picture of a 300ex with an extended swingarm?
also what rear shock should i get for that swingarm? if i remember correctly that elka doesnt make a rear for a 300 well i wont be getting the swingarm for about 6 months i am just getting ideas hopefully by then elka will make a rear for a 300

Elka does have plans to make a shock for a 300 but they don't know when it will be. Unless you are drag racing or running in the sand dunes, I wouldn' get a swingarm any longer than 2" over stock. Anything longer than that will make it handle bad for MX, XC or trails.

My stock swingarm was lengthened 2" by cutting the end of it off and adding/welding a 2" spacer. The plus 2" is still a very noticeable difference over the stock length... I too recommend plus 2".

Picture of it as soon as Wednesday morning....:)

Hopefully, if the picture turns out ok, you will see where the 2" extension was welded on. Notice the "key", that is the 2" extension that was added to the stock swingarm.

BTW, I still have fun modding the 300, I still have a blast on it.

do u have a side view of the whole bike? i was thinking a +2 would be good also im not sure if i am going to get a swingarm or not now i was thinking about it and i figured by the time i am done modding it to kill 400exs honda will have a new bike out that will kill 400exs so i think i am going to go with a cheap set of a-arms to widen the front end and wait for the new honda and mod the ***** out of it

BTW... Since you are in Jersey, you are welcome to take her for a ride so you can see/feel for yourself.:)

The 88 and 89 r swingarms I think will work, I'm getting a Lone Star +2.

sounds like +2 is a popular choice. I think u are better off doin the stock thing and welding if its cheaper so u can get a feel for what u want and not waste money
