got my handlebars today, ???

i got my fly bars today, there kickass, but one question. the right part of the handle bar is grey/silver, not too sure why. and it has plastic over it? what is that for?

But it only has it on one side? Does it use only one grip ? :blah:

I've noticed that too, but never thought about it to much. Are there any kind of markings like for cutting reasons.

Slicker, non corrosive surface for the throttle tube of a twist throttle?

So should I take the plastic off that side of the handlebar or not? It stops where the grey color ends. So the plastic is only like 3 or 4 inches long, something like that.

I was lookin at it backward. It is for a twist throttle, so it turns better. take it off unless you run a twist.

also, on my stock bars, i cant get my throttle assembly off, the screws wont budge, any ideas?

needle nose vice grips if you can get them to fit on.

i got them off somehow. they feel so great. much different.

for some odd reason, the throttle response as increased, feels like it has a ****load more torque.

I got them on, bikes all shiny too. Armor All is great. But it looks like crap with the Camera.
