I have a 300ex and I was looking today, the E brake doesnt even work, I wanted to know would it be okay to remove the cable and all from the brake cyclinder or whatever, and can I remove that silver part on the brake leaver and the pin and all???

I wanted to clean up my cluth lever and all I got to get me a new one already cause this one has been broken and held one with hose clamps:eek: ( I didnt do that it wa slike that when I got the bike)

Also I am guessing I need a speical cluth lever since I do have reverse? Or could I just get a normal one and use my finger to put the bike in reverse?

has anyone moded any thing else to do this?

Thanks

first off, you are going to need to get a parking brake block off kit. It will cover the spot the e-brake took up. Then for a new clutch lever, look into getting one with hot start and use the hot start lever for reverse. Thats what I do.
