Is this frame ok for MX or is it a just a TT frame. Any info. will be appreciated.

JP frames are plenty strong. JP is now lonestar. i would question the 2002 aspect of it though. i dont think lonestar has been making anything under the JP name since it turned into lonestar.

I agree with blacker and i am the seller. I thought jp was bought out in 96 by lonestar but the previous owner of the frame said it was a 02 with updates. Maybe he meant it was updated in 02.

Seeing as though it has long travel suspension up front, I'd say it isn't just for TT! Looks like an MX'er to me! Just my 2 cents!

i have a jp frame circa 1994 and it should have a small plate riveted on the top of the front brace with stamped numbers of the year it was made and a serial number which the manufacturer uses for identification in their bill of sale. hope this helps.
