I have a CT310 kit with hi-comp dome and 38mm A/S. Which pipe out there seems to perform the best with these? I'm also running a RAD valve.

I had a CT330 with a CT pipe and silencer that worked together really well.

It makes sense to me to run the same pipe to what company the big bore is from.

Just my .02

yeah what he said.

if thas not an option the ESR TRX-5 works good on most set ups.

What type of porting you got on the 310?

See, I don't really know. I got the cylinder with the quad ( cylinder wasn't on it), and the previous owner has no idea about quads. They're no number engraved anywhere except for the 'CT' logo on the side. Do you think a Sparks MX pipe would work well, or should I go toward the TT?

The Sparks TT is the best pipe out there for the small bores. I'm sure it will work very well with the 310, but any larger and I would look for a big bore pipe. If anyone has a nice TT pipe for sale please let me know.

The sparks tt is a awsome pipe for the 310. But I think you are going to have a problem finding one. I may be getting a new pipe since I got my ct 350pv. But whatever pipe get you need to match it to the porting.

So do you think I'd be better off with the MX pipe instead? They seem to be easier to find too. I'm assuming this cylinder has more of an MX style porting going on, since it has been set up for MX. Keep the opinions coming!!

You can't go wrong with either the Sparks MX or TT pipes. Both work great, and imo are the best pipes made for the R. The TT pipe is more of a port specific pipe though. In other words if your cylinder is ported right the TT rocks for MX. And yes they are a *itch to find.

i have a LRD on my CT310 and i think it holds it back....this winter i am going to send the jug out to get ported and i am gonna get a new pipe and make her rip!

everyone alwasy says god things about sparks, so i would go with whatever pipe you can find for it (MX or TT)

OK, I just started looking and found out that my carb is a 39mmPWK. What size jets should I start it out with?

-CT310 ported
-Boyesen Rad valve
-reed spacer
-race gas
-foam filter no lid
-800-1000 FT/ ELEV.
Carb needle - DGH
Paul Turner pipe

I'll be running mostly MX with this bike, but occasional woods. Should I keep the 39mm or sell and get a 38mm A/S? I've only used 38's before, so I'm new to the 39mm.
