does anyone use this k&n recharger/cleaner? does it seem to work out good for you. becuase i just bought one today for like 10 bucks, just wondering if anyone else use's it?

i use the cleaner stuff and works pretty good for me.

i used it b4 but it's too much money just for that kit and the oil spray can it so small. i use simple green to cleen it an klots filter oil works grate.jmo :blah:

those chemicals are too strong for the k&n filter...and the oil is not formulated to go on a paper style filter...

forget the kit get the big bottle of the cleaner and the big spray can of the oil..it will only cost you a little more and last 10 times as long

8.99 for the big bottle of cleaner#2 oz) and 6.99 for the big aerosol can of oil(12 oz)...$16 dollars fmore for nearly 3 times the amount of cleaner and 2 times the amount of oil...

where do you get those big bottles?

How often do you clean your filter?

my dealer has them or rocky mountain atv...

i clean the filter when it needs it...after a really dusty ride, after 5 or 6 rides if not dusty...depends on the conditions i was in really

I bought the little kit to clean mine and it worked great followed the instructions and it worked. I used it like at least 15 times and cleanded my filter after every weekend race.

I would have to agree with speedy here, get the big bottles, spend $5 more and you get a TON more product. 15 cleanings out of a kit???? you must not be using enough oil, therefore not needing more cleaner to get it all out. There is no way you can get that much out of a kit. I think I might have gotten 3 out of it, and that was pushing it.
