what size jetts for 450r

i just put a full yosh on my 450r and i put a 170 main in it and the head pipe glows i mean i have had like 3 400ex i know all about them but i really dnt know anything about this 450 it an 05 someone plz help me

your jetting souds about right. i would assume you also have the lid off and an aftermarket filter in. you mean it glows red? how new is the pipe? i think it will only do it for a little wile then it wont glow. the only thing i can think of is that it is so lean that the motor get very hot and heats up the pipe with it.

i'm runnig a uni in it and have the lid cracked open i dnt know how old it is i bout it from a guy on ebay i just dnt want to mess my motor up

yea i was thinking there was something wrong with my 450 when the pipe was glowing red hot. i talk to some of my buddies and its just the titanium pipe thats just the way it is. and its probally new that has somethin to do with it

I assume its night when you can see it and not day time? I have an HRC header on my 06 and mine glows at night also,i believe the jettings right though. One of my friends rides a stock 05 EX and his glows at night worse than mine so I thought it was probably normal.

i ajusted the mixture screw and no more glow for me. i have a sparks x6 with a 190 main with no lid and a stage 2 hotcam.
