To increase excitement on the WPSA tour, the staff decided to put on a Rhino exhibition at the final race of the series. With much help from their sponsors, many Rhino craft built machines were present to contend on the same track as the pro motocross riders.

This K & K Racing built Rhino sure attracted attention this weekend.

The MONSTER Engery sponsored Rhino surley looked the part of a racing Rhino. Watching the driver piolot it around the track, it looked like it rode the part of a racing rhino as well.

The H-Bomb Films crew geared up three riders to tackle the course in modded Rhinos. Dana Creech ran both the Pro Quad class as well as hoping in the Rhino shortly after his motos. Dana's attitude is one of the best in the pro line up. Dana is always having fun.

Sitting on the starting line, you can see how modified the Monster Engery rhino was compared the rest of the line up. The Monster Engery rhino had a much lower center of gravity, making its cornering capabilities superior.

Along with racing the Quad Terrain, Wes Miller hoped in his Jager sponsored Rhino to dice it up.

With his air horn mounted and stero booming, Dana was ready to tear up the track. Well I guess it looks like he is ready to cruise down the strip and pick up some chicks...but who knows.

You would think with the width of these machines, there wouldn't be much passing. Well...your wrong...I think there was more battling and passing in this race than many of the quad races. The drivers were pretty even heading into the first corner.

The monster Energy rhino grabbed the early lead with the other drivers hot on his tail

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:08 PM
A slight mishap allowed Dana Creech and Wes Miller to slip around him, with Dana out front.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:10 PM
Dana was followed Closley by Wes whom was being hounded by the Monster Energy rhino driver ( I believe Chad Spooner)

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:12 PM
With Wes following so closely, he was able to capitalize on one of Dana's mistakes and swing by to take the lead.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:14 PM
Dana was hungry to get back in the lead and try to make a pass on the inside of Wes just before a corner

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:15 PM
As the gap got more narrow, It didn't seem to me as if Dana was letting off. Wes came down into Dana and was imediatley spun sideways and onto his lid.

Phase 3

08-23-2006, 08:24 PM
The Monster Engery driver took advantage of the situation and slipped by Dana for the lead.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:29 PM
Dana made the move and took command of the lead.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:30 PM
The way Dana was driving, it sure looked like he has a lot of seat time in his rhino

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:31 PM
With the knowledge of what to expect, the drivers were ready to hit the track again.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:33 PM
The Monster Car once again snagged the early lead with Wes shortly behind. Dana was at the tail of the pack starting his charge to the front.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:35 PM
Dana had to make some close moves on his charge to the front, which ended up with a little bit of rubbing

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:36 PM
Wes Miller dropped out of the race with a bent tie rod after going big over the table top. The IMS-ROLL machine took over 2nd place and charged after the front spot.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:38 PM
The NITRO 2 GO rhino ran mid pack all weekend

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:39 PM
The Nitro 2 Go driver seemed to be very familar with his rhino as he railed the berms

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:40 PM
Back out front, H-Bomb team manager, BC was charging hard

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:41 PM
BC's Charge was shut down as he went for the double his nose pitched downward and dove straight into the face.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:42 PM
Now with BC on his lid, it was time for the last H-Bomb driver to turn over.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:43 PM
The track crew was quick to get BC out of the rhino quick and safely.

Although his elka suspension soaked up the short falls good, the impact slowed him down enough to allow Dana to slip back in the #1 spot.

tamehart
08-23-2006, 08:45 PM
The rest of the show beloned to Dana. He celebrated his win with a few donuts on the starting straightaway

I am looking forward to seeing more races of this type. All the guys seemed to have a great time and all came off the track with smiles on their faces, whether they finished first or last

Looks like there might be the possiblity that maybe we will someday see Jeremiah Jones back on the track racing, he could race a rhino, i see no reason why not. That would be bad arse!

It was soo hilarious... Creech put on a show along with everyone else... By the end of the last race it was just the two of them nd they where cutting corners, cheating, and doing donuts long before the race was over! hilarious, Dana was blowing his ir horn over the rythm section just before the finish line like every lap

O man, rhinos at Red Bud would be killer!! If not a little insane….I wonder if anyone in one would hit the ski jump or the new step up that took the place of the double double??

I doubt it though, to heavy……

BTW, the double double is gone! I’ve been on the track since then!
The step up in it’s place is just as gnarly…( I think anyways…)

yea ya duecsh! I know the double doubles are gone, we both attempted to ride over that new ***** together, i do believe i was ahead of you though. I think in a rhino, they would end up flipping down that step up, they'd have to go around.
