How did you guys ship your frame to pappy?

I'm not shipping it to him, but somebody else cause they bought it from me. It's the first 250r frame i've shipped, so the box is very long(non-removable subframe). Should i box it or not? Who should I use to ship it and where can I get a dam quote. Everywhere I check on the internet, I can't get one. I've never shipped freight before....can somebody explain how to go about doing this.:mad:

well i wrapped towls around all of the corners and then wrapped it in cardboard with zipties, but mine was a 400ex frame so i put the sub inside the actual frame which made it quite a bit shorter. i would just do as i did and ship it, it will probably be a little bit more though

i wrapped mine in cardboard then shipped it with fed ex....i shipped it the cheapest way possible which was $14 with our discount and it got from me (PA) to pappy (WV) the next day

its like a comercial fed ex... and we get a discount for being a business and i just said whats the cheapest way to send this and thats what the total was
