Master Cylinder Help

Well my dad wanted to take off the lid off of the master cylinder and he stripped one of the screws and now we cant get it off. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to buy a new master cylinder?

depends on how bad it is,if there is a lil lip on it you can try getting it with pilers and twisting it out,if not,what i usualy do is drill a hole in the middle of it about half way down then get the next size bigger bit and dril that down just enough to it catches then out the drill in reverese and it should come right out,worst comes to worst you have to drill out the whole and just re-tap it which itsnt hard either but i would try the first two things i mentioned above,good luck!
