Look on ebay, I've seen several on there lately. With those mods I'd be looking for a 36 to 38 mm carb.

The only Mikuni carb I would go with are the new TMX style. Look on ESR's website to get an idea of what they are.

ALSO: other brands of dirtbikes have the same carb, be carefull some are short body an some have lots of electronics on them. these can be made to work on R's but take more work. the early 90's dirtbikes are USUALLY a standard 38 A/S carb.

That's some good info Zedicus. Has anyone tried the new and improved PWM 38mm carb? Any better than a pwk air striker?

PWM's r like an updated PJ style carb, the idle an choke are on the same circut. they arent bad but arent any better then pwk's

also if you need a BIG carb ive had luck with snowmobile carbs.

unless i am mistaken the 38mma/s is less than $140 new from honda . look up 2000 cr250 and price it. the 199 esr and others charge is for billet jet board and jets along with pressed on adapter. check it out spend you money wisely the a/s works better than the tmx38 i had .
