Ohlin's pre-load adjustable only
$430 off ebay virtully new.
Need to be vavled for me but even now they blow away my old works in every possible way.
Rear shock is stock with LRD long traval kit and eibach spring. It is awesome, I got tons of traval and the valveing is good enough I don't have to run hardly any pre-load and it still stands up to huge jumps. $450 from LRD
If I had to buy shocks again they would be Ohlin's or TCS.

STOCK!!!!

Jeff how much are Elka triple rate piggy back shocks with ssd and comp. adj? How long is the wait if i ordered them soon? Last are these shocks good enough for like the rest of my life because i would like to do the shocks right the first time and not spend a lot of money then have to buy better shocks later on because i didnt spend only 100 more for better shocks. And how much would a good rear shock be for these fronts?

I'll PM you pricing.

elka, 730 or so I don't remember. Triple rates w/ rezzie ect. Wish I would of gone with axis. Sometimes i'm not really impressed with the performance but I think I just need to have spend some time iwht em and get em' adjusted right. I think I need to make the rebound go faster.

Ok guys you are doing great. This is just what i wantred to know. I have another question tho:

Should I go and Spend about 750 on a Set Of Elka Triple Rates with Piggy Back Rezzies With SSD

or

Save up another 125 bucks or so and get the Pep Zps Shocks.

Are the Peps worth the extra 125 bucks.

Reminder I race Mx and I do Freestyle.

Normal jump is about 55 Feet long 15 feet up. This is on my stockers and i think they are gonna blow soon. Lol SO i need to make me decision soon.

Save for PEP ZPS. They are the Best shocks u can get. I dont want to flame but they are better than AXIS and TCS and ELKA. Buy something that will last u forever. Thats what i did and i will never ride with different shocks.

I'm running PEP race shocks, no ZPS or anything but they were made for a 250R so there a bit shorter and they handle any jump i can throw at them. i jumped larocco's leap and doubled it and it felt like i was landing on a cushion. I got them on eBaY FOR $370. This winter there going to be ZPS though. Sorry no pics yet, digi camera hasn't showed up yet!:grr

i got works tripple rates with rezzies....for the money their a great shock but their not axis or pep....if u land a jump perfect they are great but come up short or overshoot then hold on....their not for serious racing so if ur into that get pep zps or axis.

Custom Axis shocks on my 400 and PEP on my 250r.

I would definatly reccomend the axis over the pep for motocross.

Elka triples, SSD, with rezzies on the front. Seem to be good shocks for the money. Soaks up the hits and whoops well. Mine need to be valved a little softer for X/C, but o/k until time for rebuild.
Elka SSD rebuild on the back. Fair. Hard to adjust for balance between soft ride and kicking. Seems to be better for M/X than X/C. If you have good aftermarket shocks on the front, you probably will not be happy with the rebuild if you ride hard.. Go with a full aftermarket rear shock.
Got to check out a 400EX the other day with full Custom axis front and rear. Plush man, real plush. They cost big bucks though.

I got a elka rear rebuild and wish I got the shock but if I had to do it all over again I think i would of went with axis or pep.
