need motor help bad.

ok this thing is burning oil bad i just when throught the motor
new head and base gasket i checked the rings i checked the head.it a 416 with a wb race cam i also put a new 2002 crf450 cam chain in i runs great expect for the smoke screen behind me. please help i dont know what eles to do.

maybe to much oil or the rings are bad

it now a 1/2 a qt. low now. i just checked the rings.

How did you check the rings? Did you measure the bore?

well the bike got rebuilt about 6 months ago. and it jsut started this. i took it the guy who did the boring to check it he said it was fine.

Hmmm. How could it be fine if it's blowing smoke?? What did he check? Did he actually dissasemble the top end?

Is your airbox full of engine oil?

the air box is not full of oil. i dont know how the checked it but i do trust him. also i dont know if i said it ... besides it smokeing bad the bike as got all kinds of power.

i would say get is honed and a new set of rings

ok i going to a 426 wiseco piston. maybe this build will last more then 6 months any help
