i just thought id post a thread telling everyone that i did what i thought was undoable and broke the frame and cracked the engine on my "unbreakable" 2003 300ex......comment on what you think, and what atv i should get next...i race mx

how did u do that? :eek2: if u race mx and dont have alot of money for mods like a-arms, axle etc... then i would look into the ltr450 but if u do have the money to do mods then i would go with a 450r.

i was racing mx and after the race was doing an inspection and noticed the crack in the frame and a bad oil leak, upon further inspection found the engine crack

i cracked my 300ex frame, its nothing big, just get it welded

i dont have any pics of it, but it has a crack in the frame behind the left peg (about 1/2 way through frame) and a 3 inch long hairline crack in the front of the engine case....here is a list of the mods on it...
fmf powercore 4 full system exhaust
dynojet jet kit
k&n air filter
Ricks hot shot +1000rpm rev box
18 in. fast trekker rear tires on douglas blue label rims
21 in. fast trekker fronts on douglas blue label rims
DG V-Pro front bumber
primary drive 12 tooth front sprocket (will send stock 13 with it)
